Mickey's Childhood Home

Under Renovation

Owners Brian Brassfield and Todd McClain have begun the massive undertaking of the childhood home of Mickey Mantle on S. Quincy Street in Commerce, OK.  Painstaking effort is being taken to put the home into the state it was when Mickey lived there.  The leaning barn (garage) that Mickey talks about in his book "The Mick" is still in tact and is riddled with multiple dents probably left my Mick playing ball against it every evening with his dad and grandfather.  Pictured below are the two workers who have been contracted to restore this historic house.
