Dedication Ceremony
April 15-16, 2000
The weekend of April 15-16, 2000 was a very special weekend for me. I was deeply honored to be invited as one of the guest speakers for the Mickey Mantle Field dedication ceremony. I got to meet many wonderful people, including Merlyn Mantle and visit again with some of my friends such as Bobby Richardson. I was also given a great tour by Brian Waybright and Brent Brassfield of some very significant places from Mickey's past. Below is a list of the highlights of this unforgettable weekend.
